Flamenco and the Ida y Vuelta ("Round Trip") Styles The Ida y Vuelta styles of flamenco are an assimilation of Latino songs and rhythms by flamenco artists which started during the late 1800s. The show begins with traditional flamenco such as Sevillanas and alegrías. The show includes demonstration and participation of castanets, palmas (handclapping), and footwork sounds. It proceeds to Ida y Vuelta styles such as tangos, guajiras and rumba, pointing out what elements come from Latin cultures, and how the clave rhythm was adapted into flamenco. Maximum audience 200.
