Also included was a kickoff party the day of arrival which incorporated audience participation with flamenco jams, Gipsy Kings style Rumba dancing and club style Salsa and Merengue dancing.

Upcoming May 2001 tour dates will include an outdoor performance in Hilton Head, SC presented by the Self Family Arts Center. Self Family will also bring public school students to a small theater in its complex for lecture demos. From there the Company goes to Winston-Salem for a concert and guitar master class presented by the Piedmont Classic Guitar Society. Finalizing a week of activity, the Savannah Dept. of Cultural Affairs will present Flamenco Latino at their famous river front festival.

A Call to Members of the Wisconsin Presenters Network
Flamenco Latino has an offer from Nicolet College in Rheinlander, WI for Fall of 2001. The Company will travel with 6 artists, 3 dancers and 3 musicians. In order to accept the Rheinlander date the Company must book a minimum of two more sites within a 7-9 day period. The Company seeks a fee in the range of $5,000 at each site and is equipped to do workshops or outreach as well as concerts.

The building of tour dates is being made by email and networking leads.Flamenco Latino will be attending APAP in Jan. 2001, but will not be able to attend the Midwest Regional Presenters Convention or any other regionals during Fall 2000.

A Call to South Florida Presenters
Flamenco Latino has been offered 10-12 concerts in the South Florida Senior Citizens Condominium circuit during Jan. 19-Feb. 2, 2002. The Company would like to fill out certain empty days in this schedule or tack on dates directly before or after this tour at other South Florida sites. This tour is for 10 artists, 5 dancers and 5 musicians. A fee of $6,000 is being asked for one concert.

All presenters should note that the fees being asked for the above represent considerable discounts off what it would cost to bring the same size company out of New York City for one road date. Interested presenters should contact the Company at 212-399-8519, or by email, and should also refer to the Performance Schedule for info on regional presenter conventions which Flamenco Latino will attend this fall.
