Flamenco Latino is a 501c(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to producing year-round activities including long term arts in education programs at both Seward Park High School and Uptown Dance Academy, home-based seasons, free local performances, tours and adult dance and guitar classes. Flamenco Latino applies for corporate, foundation or government grants, but grants are not guaranteed, and the awards we receive do not cover all the expenses involved in running our programs or paying for office overhead. Ultimately, we need your individual support. Strong individual donor support also increases Flamenco Latino's chances for grant awards because the company is seen as receiving its income from a variety of different types of sources.

If you are inspired by our artistic goals and our programs you can become involved with Flamenco Latino in a number of ways.

Take dance classes or study guitar.
Most of our classes are beginner level. Come and watch a class or just dive right in. Beginner classes are easy, fun and friendly. No previous experience is necessary. For schedules check out Classes.

Become an individual donor.
Your contribution is tax-deductible. A donation of any amount, no matter how small is helpful. If you can contribute more, we can go further.

Help behind the scenes.
The donation of your time or services is as valuable as monetary contributions. For example, fundraiser parties are always in need of host committee members, especially people who can facilitate donations of good or services. In addition, all our public performances require extra teamwork to gather mail/email contacts, pass out flyers about Flamenco Latino and sell CDs. You may have talents or resources in these areas or in other areas that you can donate. We need to know.
